At Villa Shanti’s centre is the open-plan ‘Great Room’ with lounge seating and dining for twenty. The room has a high vaulted ceiling and is cooled by ceiling fan. Tall sliding glass doors on all sides glide back to create an airy space. Unique pieces of artwork accent the room, while warm lighting enhances the ambiance.
Just a few steps away in a separate pavilion is the air-conditioned family room and office space with soft lounge seating. A large built-in teakwood entertainment centre houses a small library, 40-inch flat-screen TV with satellite channels and sound system.
Outdoor living
Villa Shanti’s outdoor areas provide ample room to bask in the sun or dine under the stars. A spacious veranda spans the front of the king suites and ‘Great Room’, in front of which lays a 25-metre infinity pool with sun loungers. Beyond is an immense lawn strewn with coconut palms, and two individual salas for dining and relaxation.

Villa Ananda’s elegant indoor living areas are perfectly designed for peaceful relaxation and dining. Commanding most of the attention is the centrally located ‘Great Room’ with comfortable sofas and ottomans providing plenty of lounging space. Adjacent is a long dining table that can seat up to fourteen guests. To the left of the ‘Great Room’ is a fully equipped kitchen. On the opposite side is a cosy family room with built-in cabinets housing an extensive library of books. The room is equipped with a 40-inch flat-screen satellite TV and sound system, and comes complete with lounge seating, a games table and small office space for those with business to attend to. Next to the family room is a guest bathroom.
Outdoor living
To the front of Villa Ananda is a stylish 25-metre infinity pool with shallow section for children, and an immense lawn that stretches to the sea. This beautiful beachfront garden is shaded by tall coconut trees and offers the perfect setting for outdoor games. Six poolside sun loungers line the pool deck, with a convenient guest changing room and shower nearby. Within the garden is a sunken dining sala with seats for eight and a beachside relaxation sala – the ideal spot for in-house spa treatments.
The breezy veranda in front of the ‘Great Room’ is furnished with cushioned rattan seating, and offers ample space for alfresco dining.

Facing the swimming pool at the heart of the villa, with broad views of the Andaman Sea, is the lavishly designed ‘Great Room’ with comfortable lounge seating and dining for 12. This generously sized living space can be opened up on all slides with tall sliding glass doors, or enclosed and air-conditioned.
The villa’s comfortable family room includes a small office area, library and service bar with wine fridge. Below is a gastro-pub-style home cinema and games room with snooker table, lounge seating and 47-inch plasma screen television with satellite channels, DVD player and sound system. On the opposite side of the courtyard is the immense, fully equipped kitchen.

The bedroom pavilions and ‘Great Room’ share a broad veranda that joins with the pool deck. Here, guests can enjoy alfresco dining and poolside relaxation on one of the sun loungers. At one end of the pool is a bar area and a guest bathroom – ideal for entertaining and special events. Beyond the 25-metre infinity pool, which has a shallow section for children, is a vast lawn that stretches to the sand and is shaded by tall coconut palms. A poolside sala provides yet another alfresco dining option, while the beachfront relaxation sala is perfect for massage treatments and mid-day siestas. Gardens and courtyards lush with frangipani trees, native plants and flowers lie between the villa’s four pavilions, enhancing the tropical ambiance.
